Causes of poor blood circulation in the feet

  • Exposure to psychological and neurological pressures continuously.
  • Low temperatures.
  • Drug Addiction.
  • Weight gain significantly, and aging.
  • High cholesterol level.
  • Family history of cerebrovascular disease or stroke.
  • Diabetes, high blood pressure, or kidney problems.

Symptoms of impaired blood circulation in the feet

Symptoms of poor blood circulation in the feet differ from one person to another relatively, but there are some common symptoms among them, which are as follows:

  • Feeling pain in the legs and feet, with difficulty healing wounds.
  • Cramping or muscle tension, and feeling tired feet and buttocks when walking and with the progress of the situation, also during sleep.
  • Thinning the skin of the legs, and tilting their color to blue.

Ways to improve blood circulation in the feet

  • Adopt healthy habits to take care of the two men, such as not sitting or standing for very long periods without taking a rest, and move for a few minutes to prevent the accumulation of blood in the feet instead of running.
  • Sit in a way that helps to stimulate blood circulation, while avoiding putting a man above the other, which leads to cutting the blood circulation, and advised to sit with the two feet slightly apart and put them on the ground, taking care to stand a little if sitting for a long time.
  • Regular exercise activates blood circulation, and it is best to practice some exercises that rely on moving the feet, such as walking fast, riding a bike or swimming, and advised to do these exercises every day for half an hour.
  • Wear comfortable shoes that have a foot brace and heels, avoid long-heeled shoes or taper head, as they reduce blood flow from the feet to the heart.
  • Wear pressure socks designed to stabilize the tissues of the feet, to increase blood flow easily.
  • Stop smoking, because it leads to a lot of peripheral vascular disease, avoid all other tobacco products.
