The smell of the feet
The smell of feet is a common problem that causes embarrassment to many people. It may be due to the same socks everyday, and lack of attention to the cleanliness of the feet, causing the appearance of bacteria and fungi, especially during the summer due to sweating of the feet.
Ways to get rid of the smell of feet
- baby powder: Help to get rid of the smell of the feet, add a good smell, can be put before wearing socks.
- Apple cider vinegar: Add a quarter cup of apple cider vinegar to 1 liter of lukewarm water and soak the feet for half an hour.
- Sodium bicarbonate: Add a tablespoon of sodium bicarbonate per liter of warm water, then soak the feet for a third of an hour a day for a week, then sprinkle a little sodium bicarbonate into the shoe before wearing it.
- Al-Shabba: Add a teaspoon of crushed egg to a cup of warm water, and soak the feet for a quarter of an hour to a third of an hour, taking care to dry the feet well, and can also sprinkle a little on the feet before wearing shoes.
- Lavender oil: Put a few drops of lavender oil in a glass of lukewarm water, and then soak the feet for a quarter of an hour a day.
- English salt: Mix four teaspoons of English salt in half a bucket of lukewarm water and put the feet in for about 10 minutes to a quarter of an hour. This water bath also helps relieve the pain of the feet.
- Black Tea: Bake two cups of black tea in three cups of hot water, then add half a bucket of tap water, and soak the feet in this mixture for one-third hour for a week, taking care to dry the feet.
- Miremia: We put a number of dried leaves in the shoe to absorb the foul odor; because they contain tannic acid.
- mouthwash: We use a little of it to wash the feet, as it helps to kill the bacteria that cause bad breath.
- Lemon or vegetable oil: Bend the feet with lemon or vegetable oil before wearing the socks, to eliminate the bacteria that cause the foul odor.
Tips to get rid of the smell of feet
- Wear cotton socks with athletic shoe.
- Wash the feet with soap and water well after returning from work, drying them before wearing shoes.
- Avoid wearing the shoe daily and if it has a smell, leave it out to get rid of the odor with a little powder placed inside it.
- Change socks on a daily basis as they act to absorb sweat, leading to bacteria.
