The smell of the feet
The smell of the feet is one of the most embarrassing and common problems among many individuals. It is the result of sweating of the feet and the lack of sweat evaporation due to the wearing of socks and closed shoes. This causes the bacteria to feed on sweat, dead skin cells and therefore the smell of unpleasant odors. Ways to remove the smell of the feet
- Baking soda: Add 1 tablespoon baking soda per liter of water, and soak the feet in the solution for at least a quarter of an hour each day in the evening for one week.
- Lavender oil: Put some drops of oil in lukewarm water, soak the feet in it for twenty minutes, and repeat it twice daily.
- Al-Shabba: Mix a tablespoon of crushed alum in a glass of lukewarm water, wash the feet with the mixture, then dry the feet, and sprinkle with some of the crushed alum.
- Vinegar: Mix half a cup of vinegar, eight cups of warm water, put the solution in a deep bowl, and soak the feet in it for at least ten minutes, then wash them with soap and water.
- Miremia: Soak the feet in the sage for fifteen minutes, or drink a cup of boiled sage before going to sleep, in addition to put the sage dry inside the shoes or socks to absorb the bad smell.
- Ginger: We rub a medium piece of fresh ginger, add the mashed to a cup of hot water, leave it drained for at least ten minutes, and half the sunken, and bare feet on a daily basis before going to sleep.
- Bicarbonate Sodium and Lemon: Mix two tablespoons of sodium bicarbonate in a liter of water, add lemon juice, and soak the feet with solution for half an hour.
- Rosemary and peppermint: Mix equal amounts of rosemary, dried mint and sage in a liter of water, and soak the feet in the mixture for thirty minutes twice a week.
- the salt: Toss two tablespoons of salt in two liters of lukewarm water, soak the feet with the solution for a quarter of an hour, and be careful not to wear socks and shoes for a few hours afterwards.
Foot Care Tips
- Be careful to wear socks in case of wearing closed shoes.
- Use the foot powder and place it before wearing the shoe.
- Take care to wash your feet with soap and water daily in the morning and evening.
- Place dried mint, lavender, or lemon in the shoe to absorb the foul odor.
- Take care to wear leather shoes because they allow the feet to breathe reverse plastic shoes.
